Job Description

CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions Company, is seeking WIM Technical Team Lead.

The WIM Technical Team Lead provides technical leadership and serves as the technical subject matter expert in the deployment and integration of simulation technologies, federated simulation systems, and Mission Command systems. The WIM Technical Team Lead is responsible for the overall preparation and execution of simulation technical operations in support of training events, exercises, and tests. The WIM Technical Team Lead trains and mentors simulation analysts and database administrators; conducts performance management; and oversees staffing and employee relations and time management. The WIM Technical Team Lead supports the Government in the development, coordination, integration, and employment of Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC) simulation federation, which is used to conduct integrated simulation supported test and training events. The WIM Technical Team Lead participates in evaluating and implementing software and hardware technologies to improve the delivery of training simulations; identifies, analyzes, develops, implements, and integrates hardware and software solutions based on industry best practices and customer insight and requirements; and provides hardware and software management support throughout the product lifecycle, from acceptance delivery, to sustainment maintenance and employment for training.

Job Requirements

  • Possesses experience with Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Solaris families of operating systems.
  • Possesses experience in setting up and operating WIM in both the Entity-Resolution Federation (ERF) and Multi-Resolution Federation (MRF) configurations.
  • Possesses experience in use of Radiant Mercury and the Tactical Control Support Processor in a JLCCTC Architecture.
  • Possesses experience in software testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and writing Problem Trouble Reports.
  • Possesses experience in managing/providing help desk support, rendering technical advice, and offering WIM functional assistance.
  • Possesses experience in problem solving abilities

Required Experience

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Possesses and maintains a current SSBI and access to TS SCI.
  • Four (4) years of recent experience (within the past 7 years) with WIM (all enclaves) leading technical teams in JLCCTC Verification, Validation and Accreditation (VV&A) activities, WIM software development, and networking experience.
  • Complies with and meets Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT II) Certification requirements as specified in 05-PR-M-0002, Information Assurance Best Business Practice (IA BBP), Information Assurance (IA) training and certification, as updated, i.e. Security + and complete Computing Environment (CE) certification and/or completion of training for primary area of support, (e.g. Cisco, Linux, Microsoft, VMware, etc).
