Job Description

CALIBRE Systems Inc, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions company, is looking for a Trail Maintenance Worker. The successful candidate will join a team to support range maintenance. The successful candidate will work directly with the CALIBRE Task Order Manager. This task will be conducted at Fort Knox, KY.

The Trail Maintenance worker shall:

  • Remove fallen and leaning dead trees
  • Remove encroaching limbs and brush
  • Perform minor repair of tread
  • Perform minor repair of tread drainage and tread drainage structures
  • Perform trail location marking
  • Remove downed limbs, loose rock, debris from trail ways

Job Requirements

  • Independent worker, able to take initiative and work from plan sets
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, sometimes over 50lbs, such as debris, rock, and tree limbs, etc.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Ability to operate light equipment
  • Knowledge of trail construction and maintenance
  • Experience working with the military or DoD.
Required Experience
  • Experience demonstrating the ability to work both individually and in team groups all consistent with the organizational goals.
  • Experience with Best Management Practices and their application to projects and tasks
