Job Description

CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions company, is looking for Technical Recruiter(s) to support a Government client. The Technical Recruiter will work within CALIBRE’s Human Capital Management and Training (HCT) Division and is responsible for supporting our Government client’s recruiting goals. The Technical Recruiter will work closely with HCT leadership and the Government client to develop and execute tactical sourcing strategies aimed at recruiting and hiring qualified candidates that meet diversity and overall recruiting goals and objectives. The Technical Recruiter shall assist with conceptualizing, developing, and deploying a Strategic Talent Acquisition strategy to increase qualified applicant hires within diverse demographics. Potential Tasks Include:

  • Discovery of Pipeline - Anticipate and research specific career field needs, as well as build a list of qualified candidates for current and future job openings
  • Talent Pool Analysis – Stay attuned to the geographic labor landscape
  • Target and Engage – Target (Function, Industry, Geography) Engagement (Career Website, How to Apply training sessions, Hiring Authority information, Outreach events)
  • Open Vacancy/Direct to Apply – Assist applicants through the federal application process and stay regularly engaged
  • Maintain metrics on diversity of candidate pipeline, qualified applicants, selection, and retention

Job Requirements

  • Task Management – The ability to manage complex tasks, independently or as part of a team, meeting quality and schedule goals within a resource and time constrained environment;
  • Flexibility – The ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities and deadlines with a high sense of urgency;
  • Technical Expertise – The ability to use predictive analytics tools to track potential career changes in targeted candidates, as well as web-based recruiting systems (LinkedIn, LinkedIn Recruiter being the preferred systems), internet tools, Google Analytics, and direct sourcing methods to identify applicants;
  • Communications – The ability to clearly articulate the value proposition of a career in various industries. Must be capable of interacting with a diverse group of people (Client management teams, potential recruits with various backgrounds) with competing interests, priorities, and levels of understanding;
  • Social Networking – The ability to leverage a wide range of social media forums to connect with a vast array of talent, while working within established boundaries of CALIBRE network security requirements;
  • Production – The ability to generate recruiting leads that result in achieving monthly placement goals established by the Program Manager and Senior Technical Recruiter; and,
  • Quality Control – The ability to deliver quality candidates who become employed and valued by our client.
Required Experience

Required Experience:

  • Five (5) or more years processing and safeguarding personally identifiable information (PII) without incident;
  • Three (3) years data mining, database scrubbing, advanced search techniques, name generation list building, and project management.

Desired Experience:

  • Five (5) or more years of technical recruiting experience within the Federal government;
  • Three (3) or more years of managing a recruiting program using Boolean techniques (Certification preferred), contact lists, social networking sites, alumni boards, niche industry sites, conference lists, etc.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting occupational areas of importance. Hydrologist, Biologist, Forester, Archaeologist, Economist, Outdoor Recreation Planner, Human Resources Specialist, Budget Specialist, Contracting Specialist, Management Analyst, Geologist, Cartographer, Land Surveyor, Realty Specialist, Law Enforcement Ranger, Hazardous Materials Specialist, Fire Management Officer, Petroleum Engineer, Petroleum Engineer Technician, Electronics Technician, Natural Resources Specialist (Wildland Fire and Non-Fire), Range Technician (Wildland Fire and Non-Fire), Land Law Examiner, Mining Engineer, Rangeland Management Specialist, and more
