Job Description

CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and technology solutions company, is looking for Strategic / Exercise Planning Staff Support for The United States Army Joint Modernization Command (USAJMC).

Planning support that includes:

  • Collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing relevant training requirements identified within the Training and Doctrine Command’s (TRADOC) Strategic Plan.
  • Providing recommendations for development of the USAJMC Campaign Plan (CAMPLAN) to enhance the execution of future Joint Warfighting Assessment (JWAs) and Scalable Assessments and Experiments (SAEs) exercises event cycles.
  • Set conditions planned for the following year’s JWA and SAE event cycle.
  • Publishing of the USAJMC CAMPLAN.
  • Conducting mission-based requirements analysis and support the USAJMC Operations Office to recommend planning guidance for executing the USAJMC mission, vision, and intent at the brigade-level for each semiannual JWA and SAE. The results of these analyses and recommendations shall be incorporated in the USAJMC Annual Mission Guidance (AMG).

Job Requirements

  • Secret Clearance is a must.
  • Provide planning and support for Army, Joint, and Security Cooperation Exercises.
  • Analyze historical, current and emerging operational strategies, tactics, techniques, and procedures for developing training exercise concepts.
  • Develop new and or modify existing exercise scenarios.
  • Facilitate and support live, virtual, and constructive training exercises of differing sizes (small team to Brigade level), complexities, and conditions.
  • Capture and analyze training and exercise-related data, and provide After Action Reviews (AARs) through various methods and formats.
  • Provides Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) recommendations in order to enhance Joint and Multinational Interoperability (JMNI) and inform Army modernization decisions.
  • Provides JWA to the Army venues to demonstrate and assess Concepts and Capabilities (C&C) in an environment that replicates future warfare.
  • Shapes requirements and integrate DOTMLPF-P solutions to address Army Modernization priorities.
  • Provide JWAs primary annual Joint/Multinational interoperability and integrated C&C assessment exercise.
  • Attend all meetings necessary to produce the required Test Network design in coordination with stakeholders, DoD and other agencies participating in the SAE and JWA events.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 5 years training experience at Battalion or Brigade level.
