Job Description

CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions Company, is looking for a Strategic Communications Analyst.

  • Develop and publish a monthly newsletter, maintain written web content and documents, and consult with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy.
  • Edit training materials, multimedia presentations, and other written documents on a wide variety of subjects.
  • Responsible for researching, assembling, creating, and disseminating sensitive, critical, and complex information for both internal and external audiences on a variety of subjects; the successful candidate will also monitor current events to determine their potential impacts on the office’s missions, operations, and policies.
  • Advise the office on personal communication matters. The products must be in alignment with the strategic messaging of the office and the customer, on which the editor will be a consultant.
  • Help to develop and maintain communication plans for specific events, issues, or projects.
  • Provide any additional support writing, editing, proofreading, and composing pages as needed.

Required Skills


  • Must be a US Citizen with an active SECRET
  • Be able to work independently, under minimal supervision
  • Be considered an expert in the written word, public communications concepts, principles, and practices
  • Demonstrate skill in analyzing articles and developing recommendations to improve messaging impact, as well as an in-depth understanding of strategy processes, policies, and issues related to the organization.

Required Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in English preferred
  • Experience with the military, Federal, or State government.
  • Must be able to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in writing, editing, and publication of professional or news articles.
