Job Description

CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions company, is looking for a SharePoint Developer. The successful candidate will support the U.S. Army Office of Energy Initiatives and the U.S. Air Force Office of Energy Assurance Engineering Teams in their development of conceptual design and cost estimates for projects and ensuring all services and products delivered comply with Government Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) and Air Force Instruction (AFI) requirements.

The Engineering Teams are comprised of technical systems engineering resources knowledgeable in specific renewable and alternative energy technologies, utility systems engineering, microgrid, electrical distribution infrastructure, energy storage, utility control, cost estimating, and energy security systems to support its activities. These resources work collaboratively to develop and execute opportunities that related to specific energy projects.

The Engineering Teams provide technical expertise to Government decision makers for energy program requirements, interpretation, and development of program guidance, and assist with development of policy/guidance for energy program planning and evaluation. The Engineering Teams conduct engineering studies to determine capabilities of existing equipment, utility services, and energy-related systems. To maximize utility efficiency and minimize overall cost, the teams calculate statistical averages, cumulative and rolling averages, statistical trends, rates of change, percentages, etc. As renewable energy technologies experts, the teams evaluate and coordinate the development and acquisition of a wide variety of energy conservation projects, including photovoltaic, concentrated solar, biomass, and geothermal.

This SharePoint Developer positon duties includes:

  • Customizing and configuring enterprise collaboration and knowledge management sites utilizing SharePoint, APAN, and other software/platforms;
  • Performing site administration responsibilities;
  • Developing a variety of training curriculum and materials on the use and application of SharePoint, including developing standards and processes;
  • Providing organization training;
  • Conducting gap assessments based on customer feedback, as necessary;
  • Providing bi-weekly, monthly, and quarter enterprise data updates, monthly status on SharePoint features, support, and training as well as monthly website traffic and visit reports, and monthly status on IT incidents;
  • Providing IT-related support, as well as website and database support, including the share network drives, ePortal SharePoint intranet site, All Partners Access network (APAN) collaboration site, public facing OEI & OEA website, and other web-based communications media.

Job Requirements

  • Preferred Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems;
  • Specialized skills in the design, content management, and administration of enterprise collaboration sites utilizing SharePoint content management.
Required Experience
  • Specialized experience in the design, content management, and administration of enterprise collaboration sites utilizing SharePoint content management;
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, project-centric environment;
  • Understanding of project management and business processes and systems;
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
