Job Description

CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions company, is looking for a Financial Analyst to provide assistance with pricing support for new projects and service offerings supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Defense Working Capital Fund (Fund). The support efforts will include: employing business and technical expertise in complex rate models and burdening methodologies. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base of existing IT systems and applications while looking forward to emerging IT architectures within and outside the government, communicating with technical, program managers, engineers and financial managers in order to develop rate models that recover the full cost of delivering services.

This support includes, but is not limited to:

  • Develop pricing models for new and recurring service offerings and/or ad-hoc pricing scenarios IAW DWCF policies and procedures.
  • Provide financial, technical and business case analysis of existing and/or new pricing models
  • Apply knowledge of DWCF principles in pricing methodologies, apply approved burdening and rate factors, and ensure full cost recovery of each rate model
  • Provide subject matter expert advice, knowledge sharing, and financial management assistance on pricing models within and external to the Agency
  • Update models IAW business changes and process improvements and provide pricing alternatives based on changes in technology.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive pricing and rate development standard operating procedures (SOPs) and desk guides based on the architecture, engineering and financial business methodologies used in the models.

Job Requirements


  • Working knowledge of DWCF Business Principles.
  • Working knowledge of DoD financial databases and processes
  • Familiarity with Information Technology (IT) and Automated Systems (AIS) programs.
  • Ability to research and compare industry business processes and rate schemas when performing pricing methodologies and employ knowledge of DWCF processes and cost recovery methodologies
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Required Experience
  • Active Secret security clearance required
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ related pricing and rate development or financial management experience in the DoD. Related experience in other organizations will be considered
  • Proficient skills in MS Office applications, especially Excel, and MS Access
