Job Description

CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions Company, is looking for Scrum Master(s) to support work at a Federal client in Tysons/McLean, VA.

  • Lead a self-contained development team in providing full software development capabilities for one or more operational systems (analysis, development, testing, training, help desk and other tasks);
  • Implement the Scrum methodology in accordance with the agency directives;
  • Manage system development activities in coordination with support activities for end-user and system support;
  • Develop creative solutions to managing competing activities and demands on the team; and
  • Implement dynamic structures to support additional systems besides the primary assignment on an as-needed basis.

Job Requirements

  • Certified Scrum Master;
  • Agile-related professional certification;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading Scrum teams;
  • 3 years experience in systems development (Java, JavaScript);
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel and function as a team member;
  • Experience in support engagements;
  • Administer and manage the Agile tools;
  • Ensures compliance with agency directives, guidance and requirements;
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills;
  • Ability to communicate well with team members and business users.
Required Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Scrum Master;
  • Minimum of 5 years in the information technology fields;
  • Candidates must be able to obtain a DHS Clearance.

Desired Experience

  • DevOps experience;
  • Masters degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience;
  • Experience in the Federal system engineering environment;
  • Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.
