Job Description

CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Services company, is looking for a program manager responsible for CALIBRE’s training support operations, which is comprised mainly of the Army Training Support System (TSS) services portfolio. Services include Army range operations, Army range sustainment, modeling, simulations, and training (MS&T), integrated training area management (ITAM), and others. Customers are both non-commercial and commercial, and include the Department of the Army G-3, the Army Training Support Center (ATSC), the National Training Center (NTC), the Program Executive Office –Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO-STRI), Installation Management Command (IMCOM), and others. This position reports to the Director.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Must hold or be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Current knowledge of trends in government and industry that include training requirements, issues, and challenges of primary customer set.
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated application of the Shipley business development process.
  • In-depth problem solving and resource integration abilities.
  • Ability to gather, organize, and present information for data calls in a thoughtful manner.
  • Ability to apply extensive executive skills in establishing and maintaining successful working relationships with customers, corporate officers, directors, project managers, staff and other business enterprises and partners.
  • Ability to obtain a Security clearance.
  • Working understanding of applicable Army training regulations, particularly Army Regulation (AR) 350-19 “The Army Sustainable Range Program.”
  • A clear vision of how to grow a business in a low-price/technically acceptable acquisition environment.
  • An advanced degree, preferably in engineering, mathematics, or systems analysis.
  • Ten or more years of project/program management experience. Demonstrated experience in training services is required. Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) is preferred.
Required Experience

Bachelor's degree in related field and minimum of 10 years experience. (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.)
