Job Description

CALIBRE is seeking a Total Package Fielding/New Equipment Training (NET) Specialist who will be responsible for conducting Total Package Fielding and New Equipment Training on the MRAP Family of Vehicles. Performance of work includes travel to various continental US and overseas (CONUS and OCONUS) sites. The TPF/NET Specialist will provide advanced support for the following duties:

  • Communicate regularly with U.S. Government and Military personnel.
  • Complete and submit DA forms to include Forms 2062 (Hand Receipt/Annex Number), 3161(Request for Issue or Turn-in) and, 2404(Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet) and/or 5988 - E(Electronic Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet.
  • Troubleshoot to diagnose, align and repair failed or damaged systems using mechanical and electronic knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain operations, including performance of maintenance and repair of commercial or military equipment.
  • Travel to various military and federal installation sites, CONUS and OCONUS, to perform de-processing inspection, repair, and maintenance of vehicles.
  • Perform advanced inspection, repair, and maintenance tasks in accordance with MRAP specifications required to prepare military vehicles for issue to units and organizations.
  • Perform operational checks on recapitalized vehicle end items and correct/repair any deficiencies identified during de-processing.
  • Identify all repair parts, components and major assemblies found to be defective, missing or damaged that render a vehicle non mission capable.
  • Install modification work orders to improve or replace parts.
  • Assist and/or conduct inventory and issuance of equipment.
  • Operate vehicle and all equipment on vehicle.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Supply and maintenance support of U.S. military ground systems.
  • Army Total Package Fielding (TPF) or New Equipment Training.
  • The use of Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) including Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAMS-E) operation and Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) systems.
  • Operating Material Handling Equipment.
  • Packing, shipping, receiving, transportation of parts, items and equipment.
  • In maintenance operations, including performance of maintenance and repair of commercial or military equipment. Preferred areas of commercial or military experience is with light or heavy-duty trucks, tractors, tactical vehicles, generators, power plants, aircraft or any diesel or gasoline powered equipment or vehicle.
  • Previous Route Clearance Expertise is a plus.
Required Experience
  • Associates degree and minimum of 10 years of related experience. (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.)
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Have a current NACI Investigation, in order to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) (will be required to provide verification).
  • Be able to obtain a passport for travel to OCONUS sites.
  • Hold a current CLASS B Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
  • Hold a current CLASS A CDL.
  • Have successfully completed the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) Course 5K-SI5K/012-SQI8.
