Job Description

CALIBRE Systems Inc, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions company, is looking for an LRAM Coordinator. This task will be conducted at Joint Base Lewis McChord, WA

The candidate will:

  • Manage a crew of Heavy Equipment Operators.
  • Operate heavy equipment to push and grade or load and relocate earth, rip rap, gravel, or other materials; clear brush, stubble, tree stumps, and/or other debris; and repair and maintain access trails to training areas.
  • Operate heavy equipment from one place to another, on both improved and unimproved roads in inclement weather conditions.
  • Perform equipment safety inspections prior to daily use.
  • Report equipment breakdowns, schedule maintenance for all equipment and request additional equipment as needed.
  • Obtain parts and repair quotes for equipment required to complete assigned tasks safely.
  • Ability to use proper lifting/loading techniques to load and deliver heavy equipment to project sites.
  • Follow installation safety regulations and provide daily safety briefings to all applicable personnel.
  • Conduct equipment safety briefings required for the operation of all LRAM equipment and ensure adherence to all safety requirements.
  • Verify appropriate safety training is received in order to properly operate equipment according to OSHA standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain records of inventory.
  • Account for and document all government furnished equipment.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust Level (NACI).
  • Have demonstrated operator-level experience with heavy machinery including operating tandem-axle dump trucks with or without air brakes.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills in a team-based development environment.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Possess a current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Must have ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Required Experience

  • Experience demonstrating the ability to work both individually and in team groups all consistent with the organizational goals.
  • Experience developing and overseeing Land Rehabilitation and Maintenance (LRAM) projects.
  • Knowledge of LRAM Best Management Practices.
  • Two years’ experience with rehabilitation or maintenance projects
  • Two years’ experience in assessment and requirements recommendations
  • One year managing work crews in the field or an office environment
  • Experience using GIS software
  • Experience in SRP ITAM Program Environment
  • Experience developing ITAM Workplan Projects
  • Knowledge of and experience with NEPA, specifically in the Pacific North West
  • Knowledge of and experience with EIS(s), EA(s), REC(s), MAP(s) and other regulatory requirements associated with DoD lands and their management
  • Experience scheduling lands for maintenance in RFMSS
  • Experience providing RTLA Programmatic Support
  • Developing GIS data for use in project planning and execution within the SRP Program
  • Experience field collecting data using handheld data collector
  • Post processing field collected GIS data
  • Experience in SRP ITAM Program Environment
  • Experience briefing land assessment results to Senior DoD Leadership

  • Direct experience working with Senior DoD Leadership
  • Progressive experience in project or program management
  • Experience working with the military in a Range environment
  • Experience using GIS software to model project plans and requirements
  • Experience in program design and definition
  • Direct experience working with Senior DoD Leadership
  • Demonstrated knowledge of land assessment standards and techniques
  • Experience compiling data for use in requirements analysis
  • Experience defining data collection techniques
  • Experience using GIS software and equipment to field collect data including ArcGIS and AutoCAD
  • Experience assessing land damages and applying knowledge of rehabilitation to project determination
