Job Description

CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions company, is looking for an experienced Logistician to provide supply chain management in support of a new program. The successful candidate will have a firm grasp on Army logistics operations, data analysis using Army systems and processes, Army distribution system and commercial off the shelf (COTS) procurement.

The following tasks includes some but not all requirements:

  • Administer supply chain operations, including requisition and inventory of supplies and materials;
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes and standard operating procedures to accomplish the receipt, storage, issue, accountability and maintenance of all property and associated material/supplies (expendable and/or non‐expendable);
  • Supervise property administration to include: Acquisition, Receiving, Identification, Records, Movement, Storage, Physical Inventory, Reports, Consumption, Utilization/Equipment, Maintenance, Subcontractor Control, Disposition, and Contract Closeout; and
  • Research the status of required parts within the distribution pipeline and maintain a status log of estimated ship date (ESD) and Required Delivery Date (RDD).

Job Requirements

  • Possess and maintain as active TOP SECRET clearance.
  • Develop, implement and maintain a Depot Support Strategy
  • Develop, implement and maintain a Life Cycle Support Plan.
  • Develop, maintain and propose a list of spare parts for unit Prescribed Load List (PLL) and sustainment Authorized Stockage List (ASL).
  • Develop, implement and maintain a Basis of Issue Plan (BOIP) feeder data.
  • Candidate must also have an acquisition background w/product development experience. Desired skills:

  • Administer supply chain operations, including requisition and inventory of supplies and materials;
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes and standard operating procedures to accomplish the receipt, storage, issue, accountability and maintenance of all property and associated material/supplies (expendable and/or non‐expendable);
  • Supervise property administration to include: Acquisition, Receiving, Identification, Records, Movement, Storage, Physical Inventory, Reports, Consumption, Utilization/Equipment, Maintenance, Subcontractor Control, Disposition, and Contract Closeout; and
  • Research the status of required parts within the distribution pipeline and maintain a status log of estimated ship date (ESD) and Required Delivery Date (RDD).
  • Staff experience as a primary staff officer, primary staff directorate NCOIC, or as a primary staff directorate warrant officer;
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of integrated logistics, including transportation, distribution, and inventory management;
  • Knowledge of current logistics management systems: GCSS-Army, LMP, GFEBS, AESIP, and Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW);
  • Demonstrable proficiency with AR 710-2 (Supply Policy Below the National Level), AR 735-5 (Property Accountability Policies), supply bulletin 700-20, and related documents;
  • Knowledge and experience with Item FAR, DFAR and other applicable regulations;
  • Ability to prepare and deliver technical and non-technical information and instructional briefings to team members and government personnel as required.
Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Candidates with exceptional relevant experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis;
  • A minimum of 8 years Joint or Military Service property management and supply chain experience
  • Graduate from an officer career course, Warrant Officer Senior Service Education (WOSSE), Senior level NCO education, or similar PME
  • Must be a US Citizen.
