Job Description

CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions Company is seeking a Logistics Analyst.

Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to Headquarters Department of the Army (HQDA) G-4 Munitions Division Staff in support of developing, evaluating and fielding logistical analysis tools and displays. Utilize various database tools including but not limited to Oracle Suite, MS Access and other database management systems to analyze logistical information stored within and compiled from an array of sources in order to provide historical and current data to the HQDA G-4 Munitions Division Staff. Review data gained from Standard Army Ammunition System-Modernization (SAAS-MOD), Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS), Logistics Information Warehouse (LIW), National Level Ammunition Capability (NLAC) and Worldwide Ammunition Reporting System-Munitions History Program (WARS-MHP) to assist HQDA G-4 Staff in their efforts to gauge systemic adherence to established policies and guidance. Provide input utilized to develop and/or revise policies and guidelines before and/or after fielding. Assists the customer in Program Objective Memorandum (POM) review and compilation through comprehensive munitions logistic data analysis and subject matter expertise application. Assists the client during evaluation of integration of munitions systems into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) suite of systems. Coordinates and supports conferences in support of the HQDA desired goal of total munitions asset visibility.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with division and corporate personnel on new business opportunities and proposals.
  • Interpret Client requirements with CALIBRE capabilities and competencies to insure success and on-time delivery of tasks, products and services as specified in Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Schedule workflow for the Project/team/personnel.
  • Supervise or lead a Project, Team, or Group and conduct interviews for personnel hiring actions
  • Assist in the development of plans and documents for the management and operations of the Project or team.
  • Assist in the creation of scheduled timelines for the development of requirements.
  • Conduct Weekly Project/Team meetings.
  • Must be able to review, prepare and present weekly and monthly status reports.
  • Must be able to perform Quality Control analysis - Conduct tests, inspections and validation of products, services, and processes to evaluate and insure quality, performance, and client satisfaction.
  • Must be able to prepare required reports for the client/management and deliver products on time

Job Requirements

  • Must have an active security clearance
  • Must possess high quality and effective oral and written communication skills
  • 4 or more years of project/program management experience with demonstrated ability to simultaneously direct or oversee multiple projects and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Expertise in supply chain analysis/project management, demonstrated leadership skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of developmental methodologies (waterfall, agile)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) to include formulas and pivot tables in Excel, spreadsheet manipulation, slide and chart creation, and joining of data sheets for analysis
  • Knowledge of: SAAS-MOD, TAMIS, LIW, NLAC and WARS-MHP a strong plus
  • Substantive knowledge of the lifecycle, financial functions, and technology, associated with government operations.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to uphold CALIBRE first principles, management processes, and human resource requirements.
  • In-depth problem solving and resource integration abilities.
  • Ability to apply extensive executive skills in establishing and maintaining successful working relationships with clients, corporate offices, and internal and external stakeholders.
Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or a related business area from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience.
  • Preferred Certification: US Army Ordnance School or US Service equivalent
