CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management and Technology Solutions Company is accepting resumes for a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt / Business Analyst who is experienced in process improvement and process modeling. Candidates will become part of a growing team of Master Black Belts, Black Belts, Data Analysis, and Subject Matter Experts providing facilitation and business analytic support to the Department of Defense's business transformation and reform initiative leadership.

This is a highly visible and dynamic position. It requires a person who is enthusiastic and enjoys working within multifunctional teams in a fast passed environment. The projects supported will be sponsored by senior executives service executives and will require professional and diplomatic communication in both verbal and written formats.

It ideal candidate must be able to collect, organize, analyze, and translate data into useful information and have the capability and confidence to effectively articulate this information to senior level stakeholders. They must be able to produce high quality, compliant deliverables quickly.

Responsibilities Include:

• Leading and managing LSS project teams in the identification of opportunities, facilitation of project events, and delivery of improved processes with sustained, measurable benefit.

• Provide LSS and business process improvement training, project team member coaching, and expert advice in performance management to DoD clients.

• Motivate and direct cross-functional teams to desired results through skillful application of the LSS methodology.

• Provide guidance and evidence based advice to senior leader on the most effective and efficient use of resources to ensure positive and measurable outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Must hold and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Must be detail oriented and capable to lead multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a very dynamic, fast-paced, corporate level environment.
  • Demonstrated Advanced level skills using Excel, Visio/iGrafx or other process modeling tools, Minitab or other statistical package to perform process analysis following the scientific method.


Desirable Skills

  • Strong facilitation skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with a variety of organizations.
  • Excellent Research and analysis capabilities to perform numerical and text analytics (structured and unstructured text)
  • Data Analytic Tools (Tableau, Python, R (Statistical Programming Language) or SPSS (Statistical Analysis software).
  • Demonstrated experience developing and presenting formal briefings and presentations to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating deliverables with government personnel.

Required Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a science or technology field from an accredited college or university.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Six Sigma Black Belt certification with a strong track record of delivering tangible project results.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience implementing Lean and Six Sigma principles and methodologies and leading process improvement activities applying Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Reengineering tools and techniques.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience mapping and modeling business processes.
  • Experience working in the Department of Defense.
