Job Description

CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions Company, is looking for an Interactive Multimedia Specialist provides technical support and serves as the technical subject matter expert in the deployment and integration of interactive presentations and applications in support of TRADOC TCM-ITS and US Army Centers of Excellence (CoE), Schools, and education Institutions. The Interactive Multimedia Specialist provides graphic design, creative content development, print and/or digital product development and/or educational game design to develop products in support of the institution's games for training (GFT), games for learning (GFL), and associated educational programs. The Interactive Multimedia Specialist builds custom modules and web parts using Java (programming language), develops dynamic mobile applications to enhance learning capabilities, creates educational and training products that involve graphic/3D modeling games and simulations.

  • Provide graphic and programming support to the TRADOC TCM-ITS and US Army Centers of Excellence (CoE), Schools, and education Institutions, utilizing interactive flash, Apple IOS, and other industry standard formats.
  • Use commercial software products communicate concepts or ideas visually, including maps, publications, brochures, and web pages.
  • Use electronic publishing applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite 6, and Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Premiere, and Macro Media Flash Video Encoder to create interactive presentations and applications.
  • Lead periodic production support meetings and maintain current with ongoing production support initiatives.
  • Provide multi-media services in support of the production of standard and non-standard training and education products.
  • Provide editing support, visual information support, GIS development support, operations support to analysis, and scene visualization support as well as guidance for the design, layout, color management, and presentation of graphics.
  • Design, produce, and finish interactive presentation products, incorporate audio, video, graphics, and textual data, to create highly advanced presentations.
  • Create interactive applications, and 2D and 3D animations utilizing imagery, maps, text, video, and graphics
  • Provides technical support and setup, coordinates with external agency technical leads, and documents re-occurring technical meetings, tests, exercises, and events.
  • Provides analysis for the design, development, and implementation of interactive multimedia solutions.
  • Attends training, seminars, conferences, and events to enhance products and services relevancy to the operational training requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Possesses and maintains an active SECRET clearance.


  • Two (2) years’ experience in graphic design, creative content development, print and/or digital product development and/or educational game design (to include industry game engines such as Unity).
  • Experience in games for training (GFT) games for learning (GFL) program product development, including: building custom modules and web parts using Java (programming language), developing dynamic mobile applications to enhance learning capabilities, creating educational and training products involving graphic/3D modeling games and simulations, and applying HTML5, WebGL, C++, JavaScript.
  • Experience incorporating audio, video, graphics, and textual data to create highly advanced presentations interactive applications.
  • Expertise with industry standard electronic publishing applications Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite 6, and Adobe Acrobat, and Macromedia Fireworks for graphic creation and manipulation.
  • Experience in in-game design and development, 3D model development, and 3D programming by integrating 3D Models into game-based synthetic.
  • Experience with GFT applications and using those applications to develop level 3 and 4 IMI.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Flash, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects, Photoshop, etc.), Articulate Presenter and Storyline, Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced multimedia skills producing interactions that can play on any device, developing, and presenting and selling design concept solutions to clients.
  • Experience with in photography, videography, and/or audio production, producing and directing photo and video shoots, motion graphics and compositing, recording and editing voiceover recording, encoding video for web-based projects, and using past or current industry game titles (e.g., Battlefield, Call of Duty, ArmA, etc.).
  • Experience in the production and editing of game-based terrain databases from real terrain source databases.
  • Experience integrating game-based products utilizing electronic file formats, .p3d & 3D Studio Max, or MAYA 3D electronic file formats.
  • Knowledge and ability to write programs using C++, MFC, C#, Visual Basic, JAVA, XML, ActionScript, scripting languages, X programming and libraries.
  • Experience with CSS, Lectora and Captivate.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver technical and non-technical information and instructional briefings and other training to team members and government personnel.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Management, Graphic Design, Digital Media or a related field or technical discipline (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted).
  • Possesses DoD 8570 IAT II certification: CompTIA Security+ or higher Information Assurance certification.
