Job Description

CALIBRE is looking for Graphics Operations Support to provide operational support the Joint Staff Service Support Office (JSSSO) located in Suffolk, VA.  The candidate must have a working knowledge of military photography.  Must have the experience in designing, printing and finishing various materials for publication.  Duties include:

  • Design, print and finish other materials, including cubical signs, door plate signs, in and out boards, schedule boards, business cards, Director’s note/memo pads, CD labels/case graphics, logo and seal designs, certificates, pamphlets, brochures, books, invitations, cards, temporary parking passes, storyboards, wall charts, posters, web graphics and all related
  • Design, print and finish conference materials, including badges, room, directional signs (posting if interior signs), name tents, chair tags, conference book covers, schedule handouts, wall charts, posters and folder
  • Design, print, mat, frame and finish materials, including building directional signs, egress floor plan signs, emergency procedure wall plaques, building floor plans and diagrams, exterior and parking lot signs, reserve parking signs, lobby display, chain of command and history display, concept construction project graphics, classification signs and labels, magnetic signs, and the lamination of maps, posters, and Install vinyl lettering on doors and glass, spanner signs, direction signs and artwork.
  • Support requests for black and white, and color copy reproduction and binding for all levels of classification.
  • Support plastic and brass engraving requirements by operating and maintaining engraving machine.
  • Provide photography support for official purposes to include Isolated Personnel Report (ISOPREP), official government issued passport, VISA, courier identification.
  • Photograph training events, documentation of damaged equipment or material. Print group photos and provide photo CDs.  Maintain camera equipment and manage camera loan program.

Required Skills
  • Must be able to obtain or have a Final DoD Secret clearance.

Required Experience
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in design, print & finish, matt, frame, & finish materials.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience installing vinyl lettering on doors & glass, spanner signs, direction signs, and artwork.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in requisitioning required supplies, materials inventory control, as well as MSDS safety sheets information.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience operating & maintaining engraving machines, including a plastic and brass engraver.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience providing photography support.
  • At least 2 years of experience/familiarity with ADA, OSHA, state and local standards for industrial and administrative office buildings.

Desired Experience

  • Associate's Degree in related field or two additional year of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Five years working as a photographic specialist with a working knowledge of military photography.
