Job Description

CALIBRE, an employee-owned management consulting and information technology solutions company, is looking for a qualified individual to serve as a Force Management Analyst with a focus on strategic equipping in support of the Office, Chief Army Reserve (OCAR) at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.  

The Force Management Analyst’s duties include, but are not limited to:  

  • Support the OCAR Strategic Equipping Division (SED).
  • Analyze equipment data related to funding issues.
  • Gather data from multiple database systems such as the Force Management System (FMS) and Army Equipping Enterprise System (AE2S).
  • Produce reports (narrative and data using Microsoft Excel).
  • Analyze equipment shortages using Microsoft Excel.
  • Respond to requests for information.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Project Manager (PM).

Required Skills
  • Must possess/maintain a SECRET security clearance.
  • Excellent analytical skills using automation.
  • Teamwork.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple organizations.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Willingness to complete tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and develop / prioritize tasks.  
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.

Required Experience
  •  Two or more years experience performing analyst duties including the use of automation.

Preferred Experience

  • Three years experience performing analyst duties.
  • Three years experience in Army, Army Reserve, and / or National Guard force management field.

Required Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in either the Arts / or Science fields. (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted).

Preferred Education:

  • Graduate of the four-week How the Army Runs Course, formerly the Army Force Management Course, or
  • Graduate of the Synchronization Staff Officer (SSO) Course, taught at the Army Force Management School.
