CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Services company, is looking for an Energy Project Planner. The successful candidate will directly support the U.S. Air Force Office of Energy Assurance (OEA), specifically to help coordinate OEA technical support to various Air Force Installations.
Specific tasking for the Energy Project Planner will include:
- Manage task identification, prioritization, resource assignment, and workflow scheduling
- Track execution/completion of identified tasks
- Provide recommendations and guidance Project Managers
- Attend and participate in project meetings
- Maintain project documentation
- Manage information and data within various software and databases
The position may also support technical analysis of installation requirements, pertinent regulations, resources, and energy markets to evaluate energy resilience inquiries/opportunities at Air Force Installations
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to develop and maintain a schedule
- Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, project-centric environment
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling software including use of dependencies, cost loading, resource loading, resource leveling, and earned value methodologies
Required Experience
- Experience and/or interest in energy resilience
- Work will be conducted with minimal supervision and selected applicant must have demonstrated independent problem-resolution skills and experience
- Experience working with DoD and other Federal agencies (U.S. Air Force preferred)
- Understanding of DoD and Federal energy acquisition laws and policies
- Experience with energy markets and/or development of large scale energy projects
- Experience with energy finance and/or electrical engineering
- Experience working with energy utilities
- Experience using the U.S. Air Force Task Management tool is desired
