CALIBRE is seeking a Division Vice President of Human Capital Management & Training to join our dynamic team!

The Division Vice President of Human Capital Management & Training (HCT) is a senior CALIBRE employee responsible for business development, sales, and management of the Division’s Profit & Loss (P&L). He or she should be a subject matter expert (SME) and thought leader supporting business development and solution delivery for HCT opportunities related to human capital and training services to a highly diversified client-base in the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Intelligence Community, and Automotive Industry. The Division Vice President, HCT will report to the Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer and will serve as a member of CALIBRE’s Corporate Leadership Team (CLT).

The Division Vice President, HCT leads, develops, and grows market share for CALIBRE’s service offerings, consistent with the Division business plan. This senior leader also provides input to and support for the execution of business plans by other Division Vice Presidents.

The Division Vice President, HCT interfaces with the Senior Vice President, Growth Operations, as well as the Vice President, Strategic Accounts, to develop actionable market assessments, identify credible market opportunities, investigate and develop strategic teaming partners, and build winning teams by establishing appropriate teaming agreements.

Responsibilities:

The Division Vice President, HCT is responsible for developing and executing an annual business plan and a five-year business plan. These plans support the Corporate Strategic Plan and Five-Year Business Plan and are prepared under the direction of the Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop, coordinate, and execute strategic growth campaigns and new market opportunities.
  • Obtain/understand client insight, develop/communicate/implement client contact plans, “shape” potential request for proposal (RFP) requirements, gather competitive intelligence and assess the competitive environment, develop prime/subcontractor options and teaming strategies, develop value propositions and win themes, and create innovative and competitive pricing strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver capability briefings and statements.
  • Leverage multiple online resources for business development.
  • Work with current and potential partners to generate sustained sales and revenue.
  • Formulate a business development and operating budgets, and manage to those budgets.
  • Ensure Division projects are delivered with quality, within budgets, and on time.
  • Supervise Division Directors as they carry out Division responsibilities.
  • Ensure that business development and personnel development activities are cost effective, efficient, and within established budget constraints.
  • Ensure that Business and Operations plans, goals, and policies are consistent with established Company-wide goals.
  • Leverage current alliances and client relationships to further expand business development opportunities at all levels.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels and competitors to support business development opportunities.
  • Network with government and industry leaders and build relationships to facilitate expanded sales opportunities and sustained business.
  • Other responsibilities include developing and executing strategic campaigns, to include developing client insight:
  • Acquire and maintain market intelligence in CALIBRE’s defense, federal civil, and commercial market sectors.
  • Identify business opportunities in these market sectors to meet or exceed Division balanced scorecard goals.
  • Develop business partnerships and alliances to support business plans in coordination with the Senior Vice President, Growth Operations.
  • Serve as capture manager for designated major business opportunities and designated sustainment activities.
  • Serve as a SME on projects and/or proposals, if required.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of projects being executed by other Division Vice Presidents to maintain awareness of service offering delivery, and, where appropriate, maintain contact with clients.
  • Obtain and implement strategic business development guidance from the Executive Vice President & Chief Operations Officer. This guidance provides the basis for Division business plans and Division balanced scorecards, which are used to set expectations and measure performance. As such, must be familiar with and support the corporate goal and objectives.
  • Participate in meetings, as required, with the Board of Directors to present business plans, performance updates and lessons learned.

  • Proven track record of successful business development and business management experience.
Required Experience

Required Experience:

  • Master of Science (MS), Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent degree. (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.)
  • 10 years of experience in government services consulting and/or business development.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
