Job Description

CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions company is looking for a Data Analyst to support one of the Secretariats for the Army. This position will be directly supporting a Senior Executive Service client within the Secretariat. The scope of this position will be to identify opportunities for analysis, acquire and clean disparate and messy data sets, conduct detailed descriptive and predictive analysis, summarize and visualize results and present your findings and recommendations to senior leaders within the Army. This position requires both the ability to scope and execute analytical projects in a timely fashion, and conduct independent analysis with little oversight. Further, as this is a senior position, the ideal candidate will have experience briefing senior leaders, as this role interfaces with senior officials on a consistent basis.  You will be the analytics subject matter expert on the team, and should feel comfortable with coaching and mentoring teammates, as well as providing input and guidance to discussions about potential projects.

• Active Secret Clearance REQUIRED or an ability to obtain an interim clearance
• Must be US citizen
• Strong, proven analytical ability, with experience applying statistical tests in business situations;
• Proven track record of using data to inform business decisions;
• Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts in a concise, easy to understand manner to senior leaders;
• Comfort defining and scoping vague problems, and turning them in to successful analytical projects with little guidance;
• Team player, with the ability to reach out to organizations unfamiliar to you and establish positive working relationships;
• Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field;
• 5+ years of analytical experience.
• Experience working with the Army

(Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.)  

Desired:

• CDFM certification
• Current access to and / or familiarity with the General Enterprise Fund Business System (GFEBS)
• Familiarity with the Army Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) lifecycle
• Familiarity with Army organizational structure
• 10 years of direct experience
