CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Services Company is looking for a Chief Information Technology Architect to support the United States Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (ICoE) Chief Information Officer (CIO)/G6 by overseeing all activities related to end-to-end Information Technology (IT), Battle Simulation, and end-user IT support to all ICoE activities and units; Oversees Cybersecurity Management for ICoE; conducts computer, software, and network management and maintenance for ICoE mission systems; conducts Video Teleconferencing (VTC) operations; conducts IT support to Knowledge Management, designs, implements, accounts for, and maintains the Intelligence Center’s IT architecture in order to support multi-Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) individual intelligence training, Military Intelligence (MI) Force Development and Experimentation

  • Manage and maintain network performance and network security. Provides advanced technical expertise to maintain the stability and security of the organization’s LAN/WAN environment.
  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, integrity, and management of site network systems, LAN and WAN.
  • Responsible for implementing and executing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to ensure site accreditation in support of all simulation exercise requirements. Assist in development and implementation security policies as directed by client.
  • Responsible for maintaining network security and information assurance for the networks infrastructure; ensure compliance with information systems security monitoring notification procedures.
  • Responsible for analyzing and reviewing network security incidents; creating and maintaining access control lists (ACLs) on routers, switches and firewalls; and conducting threat and vulnerability assessments to ensure compliance with information assurance standards.
  • Responsible for implementing vendor security measures, Defense Information System Agency’s (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Army Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) and other directives.
  • Maintains, manages, and configures routers, switches, and all related network equipment. Maintain Group Policy and security settings, system authorization access request.
  • Monitors and troubleshoots (identifies, diagnoses, and resolves) network for outages or issues; develops and executes corrective actions to maximize network availably and minimize impact on the customer.
  • Secures network systems; manages, configures, and monitors security systems and access to the network; establishes and enforces network security policies.

Job Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience with design of systems and networks, systems analysis, and software engineering.
  • Experience with virtualization, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, thin/zero client technologies, client-server and storage systems.
  • Extensive experience with network design. Experience with MacAfee HBSS, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Server 2012 R2, Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 operating systems, Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system.
  • Must have experience operating and designing classified networks at the Secret and Top Secret/SCI levels. Experience with tactical Military Intelligence systems, specifically the Distributed Common Ground System Army (DCGS-A).
  • Familiarity with procedures for disposition, transport, handling, and maintenance of equipment operating at levels of security classification of Secret and above…
  • Experience with Cisco Router/Switches, Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, IPSec, SSL, VPN, URL Filtering/Layer 7 policies.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN Cabling and Computer Facilities maintenance, PC repair and troubleshooting, and network deployment.
  • Knowledge of the processes and procedures related to supporting large-scale simulation federations, National Simulation Center events, and Mission Training Complex operations.
  • Experience Troubleshooting networks in a multi-user, multi-site, distributed environment.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver technical and non-technical information and instructional briefings and other training to team members and government personnel.
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, Engineering, or business discipline.
  • Certified at the IAT Level III IAW DoD instruction 8570.1m: CompTIA Security+ or higher Information Assurance certification.
  • Possesses CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Server+, CISCO CCT, or similar certification.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be eligible for a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
