CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management and Technology Services Company, is accepting resumes for a Business Process Analyst who is experienced in process improvement and process modeling. Candidates will become part of a team of Master Black Belts facilitating change leaders in their support of Department of Defense business transformation and reform initiatives.

This is a highly visible and dynamic position. It requires a person who is enthusiastic and tenacious. They must enjoy working within a multifunctional team in a fast passed environment. The projects supported will be sponsored by senior executives and requires to professionally and diplomatically communicate verbally and in writing.

Candidate must be able to collect, organize, analyze, and translate data into useful information. Deliverables produced must be of high quality and in compliance with performance standards. Candidate must be able to advise stakeholders to effectively and efficiently use technology and resources to meet customer’s needs, resolve issues, and meet required deliverables.

Job Requirements

Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance;

  • At least 1 year of experience supporting business process improvement activity using Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Reengineering, or similar scientific methodology;
  • At least 1 year experience building process diagrams and models; highly proficient in Excel, Visio/iGrafx, or other process modeling tools;
  • Capable of using basic Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN);
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Department of Defense or other Government agency;
  • Experience managing team dynamics and conflict resolution within and amongst headquarters level team members;
  • Experience supporting projects sponsored by senior leaders and interacting directly with process owners and knowledge workers to bring problems to resolution;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Excellent research and analysis abilities;
  • Computer skills: advanced level skills in Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Excel, Visio, Access, Word, and Power Point.

Desirable Skills:

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or demonstrated equivalent technical problem solving experience is preferred;
  • Exposure to querying languages such as SQL and training in Enterprise Architecture is a plus.
