Job Description

CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management and Technology Solutions company, is seeking an Army Senior Budget Analyst to US Army Reserve Command (USARC) G-38 Resource Management (RM) Office Fort Bragg to perform budget support services. The ideal candidate will provide continuous on-site support.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct analysis of Annual Training (AT) orders execution and develop a methodology for distribution of AT funds to major units
  • Prepare funding distribution plans by command and Management Decision Package
  • Conduct required analysis to support annual update of Manday rates for MRM
  • Conduct program design, cost analysis and comparisons for client as required
  • Prepare budget execution displays for the RM office
  • Conduct OCO program and execution analysis
  • Conduct unit and mobilization data analysis
  • Review monthly execution data and report abnormalities to RM office as required
  • Review OPORD’s for compliance and resourcing
  • Conduct Homeland Operation budget analysis
  • Develop and run queries on various financial data systems, conduct data analysis and make recommendations to client for resourcing decisions
  • Prepare and provide briefings, reports, charts, graphs, and information papers
  • Provide MRM, GFEBS or SAP, ePROBE support as needed
  • Obtain access to the following STAMIS: GFEBS, ePROBE

Job Requirements

  • Must possess analytical and database skills and strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
  • MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint proficiency.

Required Experience
  • Must hold an active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field
  • 5 to 7 years related experience; Army Reserve background preferred.
  • Must have understanding of the US Army Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System (PPBES) process and understand the funding requirements process.
