CALIBRE is an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company. We are currently looking for a VMWare VCF 9 Architect. We are currently in need of a Secret cleared VMware Engineer. Lead the design and implementation of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9 environments using the Architecture Excellence – End-to-End Delivery Methodology. Align current architecture with future-state requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design: Create scalable, secure VMware VCF 9 solutions; produce HLD/LLD and operational documentation.
Implementation: Deploy and configure VCF components; perform migrations; validate solutions through testing.
Optimization: Monitor performance, implement automation (vRealize, PowerCLI), and optimize based on KPIs.
Security & Compliance: Enforce security standards, RBAC, and audit logging.
Governance: Drive Architecture Review Boards, manage risks/issues, maintain RTM and project hygiene.
Collaboration: Align virtualization strategy with business goals; partner with PMO for workstream planning and roadmap development.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain design artifacts, capacity reports, and deliver handback packages.
Required Skills
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required
- Expertise in VMware VCF 9, vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN, vRealize Suite.
- Strong architecture and governance experience.
- Familiarity with End-to-End Delivery Methodology.
- VMware certifications (VCDX preferred).

- Bachelor’s degree or 7 – 10 years’ equivalent work experience
