We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator (DBA) – Key Personnel to manage and support complex, large-scale database environments. The ideal candidate will provide expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level databases in a client/server environment, with a strong focus on security, optimization, and integration across systems.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, operate, and maintain enterprise-level computerized databases across various environments.
- Design and implement databases, including schema definition, access methods, validation checks, and device allocation.
- Conduct audits and quality control to ensure accurate and compliant data usage.
- Support long-range database planning in coordination with other IT managers.
- Advise users on data access protocols and database utilization.
- Perform database programming and support front-end/back-end systems design.
- Monitor database standards, manage database dictionaries, and maintain integration through effective database architecture.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience with database query languages including Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
- Experience working across various operating systems and with additional programming languages.
- Demonstrated experience on at least two large-scale database administration projects in enterprise environments.
- DoD 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security).
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
- Must possess an IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 5 (T5) at the time of proposal submission.
