CALIBRE Systems, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation Company, is seeking a Financial Analyst to provide analytical and financial support to the Army Working Capital Fund – Supply Management Army. The successful candidate will extract, analyze, validate, and summarize data from large Army supply and financial databases, generating reports and briefings for senior leaders.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate logistics and financial data to support Army programming and budgeting efforts. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and experienced in both financial analysis and cloud-based data environments.
Primary Responsibilities:

Extract, analyze, and summarize financial and supply chain data from large Army databases.

Develop reports, presentations, and visualizations for senior leaders using Excel and PowerPoint.

Coordinate efforts between logistics and finance elements to produce and validate data for Army resource programming and budgeting.

Prepare analytical reports on Stock Funded purchases and creditable materiel returns.

Monitor the National Maintenance Program (NMP) to capture average unit funded repair costs in support of annual Price and Credit table development.

Provide support in the development of the annual Price and Credit Table, AWCF Budget Submission (BES), and President’s Budget (PB).

Assist in the preparation of monthly meetings, graphs, and performance metrics.

Support the use of PostgreSQL in revamping financial deliverables and data products within a Cloud environment.

Provide day-to-day support to action officers within the directorate in support of AWCF operations.
Required Skills
-
Strong proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Experience working with relational database management systems (RDBMS), SQL, and PostgreSQL
-
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and MS Azure
-
Strong analytical, data validation, and reporting skills
-
Ability to develop financial reports, graphs, and metrics for senior leadership

Solid understanding of Budgeting and Forecasting processes

Familiarity with modern technologies such as NoSQL, C++, DevOps, and hybrid cloud environments

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively
required Experience

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in a related field; Master’s degree (MA) is a plus

Experience developing reports and dashboards for financial analysis and logistics data

Supporting budgeting processes such as AWCF BES, President’s Budget (PB), and annual Price and Credit Table development

Experience preparing briefings and reports for senior leaders

Supporting PostgreSQL database deliverables in a Cloud environment
Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF), GCSS-Army, GFEBS, and LMP

Experience with SQL Oracle databases
