CALIBRE, an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation Company, is looking for a Property Control Associate. Our company operates, maintains, and sustains mission-critical systems, supporting the launch, testing, and tracking of Department of Defense, civil, commercial, and international space lift vehicles. Located at Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands, this position offers a unique opportunity to work on the forefront of global defense and space operations.

 

This position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands.  It is an unaccompanied position (no family accommodations or pets).  Benefits of this unique location include free housing, three meals a day and potential for overseas tax incentives.

·       Assist Property Management Lifecycle elements of Records, Utilization, Relief of Stewardship and Inventory while supporting other team members with all other elements as required.

o   Utilization of disposition processing to include but not limited to end users declaring items excess - their physical receipt, case processing in PIEE and DLA ETIDS through final actions once case closure has been established.

§  Establishes, maintains and updates utilization/disposition logs in accordance with applicable work instructions, rules and regulations.

§  Assists/leads in palletizing, sorting and banding of parts, assets and/or materials for disposition processing and transportation movements as required.

o   Relief of Stewardship in preparing internal and external reports related to government property, including Loss, Theft, Damage, or Destruction reports (LOSS as called out in FAR 52.245-1).

o   Record keeping in maintaining auditable records of government property (GFM, GFP, CAM and CAP).

·       Support the establishment of processes from a work being performed for our internal managed documents (policies, procedures, and work instructions).

·       Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and FAR/DFARS requirements.

·       Provide regular work status updates to the lead/manager.

·       Support conducting, reconciliation and scheduling physical inventories internally to our team and internally with other departments.

·       Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

·       Drive carts, forklifts and/or trucks to pick up excess items or to deliver parts to designated locations.

·       Perform duties involving Loss processing, requesting, receiving, issuing, turn-in (disposition), accountability, inventory, storage and preservation of all Government Property and Materials.

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

 

 

Required Skills

·       Team oriented individual who can think critically, independently and support needs of the wider Logistics Management team in efforts that require additional hands.

·       Working knowledge and experience within the government PIEE system and DLA ETIDS.

·       Coordination, Planning, and Time Management skills.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·       Understands and adheres to Safety and Risk assessment concepts.

·       Proficient in using computers for report and document preparation, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and the ability to learn MAXIMO.

required Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience in property control and/or logistics discipline. 

·       Excellent writing skills for implementing FAR/DFARS changes, reports, and correspondence.

 

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

 

·       Must be capable of working in an indoor warehouse/office and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dirty, tropical - humid environment with average temperatures of 85 degrees or more year-round).

·       Must be physically able to conduct various unaided range of motion movements to include bending, twisting and climbing ≤ 30 feet.

·       Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs. unassisted. 

·       Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical agents (i.e. hazmat batteries).

·       Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.

·       Ability to be flexible in a changing work environment.

·       This position is unaccompanied.

·       Required to pass a Federal Background Investigation to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). 

·       Must be able to obtain and maintain the ability to reside on/work on the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.

·       Must be able to obtain and maintain a USAG-KA driver’s license to drive a forklift, cart and truck safely.
