CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking a talented and experienced Engineer Network 4. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Essential Job Responsibilities: Designs and plans network systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conducts testing of network systems. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Evaluates and reports on new network technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.
Required Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
· 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in Cyber or IT fields; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
· Of the minimum years of required experience, at least two years of the experience must be with engineering networks supporting the DoD.
· Additionally, at least five years of experience must include practical experience in secure network and system design, analysis, and procedure/test generation.
Secret Clearance Required
Preferred Requirements:
· DoD experience.
· Learning Management System experience and Distance Learning Experience.
· Within 50 miles of Pax River, MD.
Physical Requirements: May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
