CALIBRE is an employee-owned Management Consulting and Information Technology Solutions Company, looking for a qualified individual to serve as Registrar at the Army Force Management School (AFMS). The primary function of the job is to enroll students onto AFMS courses across all three Army components. Manage the quota system for the Structure Manning Decision Review (SMDR) and Training Arbitration Panel (TRAP). Manage welcome letters to all students. Maintain and manage class rosters. Coordinate with Course Directors all activities leading to the enrollment and registration of students. Process Exception to Policy (ETP) requests. Maintain school throughput statistics by course on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis. 

The Registrar duties include, but are not limited to:  

·            Perform duties as the organization’s Registrar

·            Operate and maintain the Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) AFMS account

·            Coordinate and maintain Registration and enrollment practices to support Army accreditation IAW DoD, Army and Fort Belvoir policies and procedures

·            Maintain Registrar’s certification documentation up to date

·            Maintain status on all classes by multiple categories of analysis (component, rank, grade, qualifications, ASIs, etc.)

·            Coordinate input to the SMDR and TRAP processes on a yearly basis

·            Prepare briefings, reports and papers on issues and statistics dealing with the school’s registration activities as required

·            Write and maintain assigned chapters/sections for the AFMS Admin Standing Operating Procedures (SOP) for Registration.

·            Receive, manage and coordinate decision on ETPs for qualifying students

·            Coordinate class throughput with Course Directors during the Course Design Review (CDR) process

·            Maintain accountability of current and former students using ATRRS

·            Coordinate with training developers the Course Administrative Data (CAD)

·            Manage school withdrawal or the recycled student actions

·            Coordinate with the Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator on class rosters and other pertinent information

·            Coordinate with Army units on matters related to SMDR, TRAP and student attendance to AFMS

·            Coordinate with the Army National Guard Training Division the registration and enrollment of students onto the Army National Guard Force Management Course (ARNG FMC)

·            Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must possess and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

 

 

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in either the Arts or Science fields

required Experience

  • Two-to three years’ experience performing as the single Registrar within an Army School and or commercial educational institution
  • Familiarity with Additional Skill Identifiers (ASI): 6R, A3 and 3R
  • Two-to three years’ experience working within the ATRRS environment

 

Preferred Experience

 

  • Three-to-four years’ experience serving as the principal registrar within an Army School and or commercial educational institution
  • Must be able and willing to plan, coordinate, integrate, and prepare staffing actions at the high-quality standard. 
  • Ability to work in team settings, communicate, and collaborate with multiple organizations.
  • Excellent oral communications skills.
  • Excellent written communications skills with the ability to write reports and briefings.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to complete tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, multi-task, and prioritize to meet multiple consecutive deadlines.
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel and Teams.
