Audiovisual (AV) Coordinator

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, looking for a qualified individual to serve as Audiovisual Coordinator at the Army Force Management School (AFMS). The primary function of the job is to operate, maintain and service audiovisual equipment across 4 large classrooms, 2 small classrooms and 2 conference rooms.

 

The Audiovisual Coordinator duties include, but are not limited to the operation, maintenance or coordination for repair of replacement of the following:  

 

  • Video teleconference equipment (NIPR / SIPR) and associate control racks
  • Video walls with associated control racks
  • Projectors (portable, large and fixed) and screens
  • Portable sound and audio equipment to enable mobile training
  • LCD and LED displays
  • Sound systems to include lapel microphones, ceiling microphones, desk microphones.
  • Monitors, projectors, computers, trays, and any other associated components of classroom and conference rooms AV equipment.
  • Classroom instructor podiums.
  • Instructional gaming devices, to include troubleshooting, adjustments, recommends upgrades, repairs, and or replacement
  • Information Kiosks (to include content management when directed)
  • Cameras (video, digital and still picture)
  • Speaker systems (fixed and portable)

 

The AV coordinator will provide photography and videography support to include, coordinating and taking class photos, photos for quarterly newsletter, profile pictures, course director videos and AFMS event photos and/or video. The contractor will provide audio, video editing and graphic support.

Required Skills

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able obtain a SECRET security clearance.
  • Three-to-five years’ experience in support of military or corporate sector AV equipment
  • Three-to-five years’ experience working customer service in an organization (corporate or military)
  • Must be able and willing to plan, coordinate, integrate, and prepare staffing actions at the high-quality standard. 
  • Ability to work in team settings, communicate, and collaborate with multiple organizations.
  • Excellent oral communications skills.
  • Excellent written communications skills with the ability to write reports and briefings.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to complete tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, multi-task, and prioritize to meet multiple consecutive deadlines.
  • Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel and Teams.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative products, Photo Shop or other video producing software.
